Eine Grafik der Künstlerin Maja Balevic zeigt einen weißen Text auf schwarzem Hintergrund: I believe more in horoscope than in nationalities. Hinter dem fettgedruckten Text ist eine schwache handschriftliche Schrift kaum zu erkennen: I believe more in nationalities than in horoscope.

    Auf schwarzer Fläche steht leuchtend weiß in serifenloser Druckschrift „I believe more in horoscope than in nationalities“. Darunter, handgeschrieben und nur schwach erkennbar die Umkehrung des Satzes: „I believe more in nationalities than in horoscope“.
    Maja Bajević enttarnt durch die Gegenüberstellung von Astrologie und nationaler Identität beide Konzepte als Konstrukte, die ihre Existenz dem Glauben verdanken. Eine Äußerung, die Bajevićs eigener Erfahrung entspricht, wie die Künstlerin in einem Interview erläutert: „I have lived abroad longer than I have lived where I was born, but I was also often reminded that this is not where I belong, not really. It has resulted in a ‘me’ that does not belong anywhere, really. […] The fact that you are without a real home (a feeling of belonging, a country, a house) makes you fragile, but it also makes you see more clearly the society you come from and the ones in which you live.”1
    Der Beitrag der Künstlerin zur Grafikmappe Love It or Leave It (EB66) enthält eine Botschaft, die in der Öffentlichkeit kontrovers aufgenommen wurde. Bajević zeigte die Arbeit 2006 im Rahmen des 47. Oktober-Salons Art, Life & Confusion in Belgrad (Serbien) als großes Plakat in einem Park im Stadtraum, wo es wiederholt mit nationalistischen Parolen überschmiert und beschädigt wurde.
