The exhibition “Hommage à Lidice” commemorated the village of Lidice near Prague, which was destroyed in 1942 by Wehrmacht soldiers in retaliation for the assassination of Heydrich. The catalog contains reproductions of the 22 paintings donated to Lidice, as well as an original montage (“Für Lidice,” 1967, 15 × 21 cm) by Gerhard Rühm.
