    The screen print Selbstbildnis (Self-Portrait) from 1971 is Konrad Lueg’s contribution to the special edition of the publication Grafik des Kapitalistischen Realismus (EB31). It is Lueg’s fifth and last print, which he produced at the invitation of René Block to complete the special edition of the publication, conceived as a catalog raisonné. Selbstbildnis shows a sketch-like image of Lueg’s head, with the artist’s first name written on it in the form of a necklace.
