For the four-color offset print, Milica Tomić quotes a page from a Serbian magazine in which a full-page photograph of a political demonstration by the artist is depicted. For Belgrade remembers Tomić recreated an event in 2001 that had taken place 60 years earlier, in 1941, in the same place in Belgrade: the public hanging of a Serbian resistance fighter. The photo shows the artist dangling by a rope from a pole, while behind her, as in 1941, the traffic continues undisturbed.
