    John Lethbridge studied at the Wellington Design School and the Elam School of Fine Arts in Auckland and moved to Australia in 1975. In addition to his sculptures, drawings, and photographs, he also worked in the medium of printmaking from the outset. The Ring Cycle (I–V) consists of five etchings and aquatints, and is Lethbridge’s contribution to the graphic portfolio Aus Australien (EB57).
